Main benefits and coverage
Comprehensive health care insurance KOMPLEX
It is intended for foreigners who are permanently staying in the territory of the Czech Republic and are not participants in public health insurance. It can also be used to extend the stay.
Includes:
- outpatient and inpatient health care
- preventive care
- dispensary care
- emergency care and rescue services
- prescription drugs
- transportation of the sick
- repatriation of the insured or transport of mortal remains
Comprehensive health care insurance KOMPLEX+
It also extends insurance protection to professional athletes or clients who participate in publicly organized competitive sports activities, matches or races, including preparation for them.
Comprehensive health care insurance KOMPLEX2
It also extends insurance coverage to women who are planning childbirth.
Includes:
- health care costs related to pregnancy and childbirth
- the cost of postnatal healthcare for a newborn up to the first 14 days of his life
- the waiting period for pregnancy and childbirth does not apply
Necessary and urgent care Insurance BASIC
It is intended for foreigners who apply for a visa at a Czech embassy abroad or arrange insurance in the Czech Republic. However, it cannot be used to extend the stay.
Includes:
- Emergency care and rescue services
- transportation to a medical institution
- determination of diagnosis and treatment procedure
- urgent and necessary medical procedures, including necessary medicines and medical supplies
- treatment in hospital
The insurance serves as proof of travel health insurance for foreigners during a stay of more than 90 days according to Act 326/1999 Coll., on the stay of foreigners in the territory of the Czech Republic, as amended.
